SmartTubeNext users report issues with SmartTubeNext, an app that provides an ad-free YouTube experience.
In our subreddit /r/FireStickHacks community and other Android communities that many members have commented that while live streams are working fine on SmartTubeNext, regular videos show a 403 error.
Users have tried to troubleshoot this problem by clearing cache and data within the app, but the error is still there.
Moreover, this issue has affected all versions of the app, so installing a different SmartTubeNext APK file will not help either. As per my experience, this issue could be temporary and might be fixed in the next update.

Alternative Solution to Watch YouTube Videos Without Ads on FireStick
Until SmartTubeNext fixes this issue, you can opt for a different method to avoid ads on YouTube videos.
First, install the official YouTube app from the Amazon Appstore. Then, connect your VPN to a server in Albania or Mongolia to continue enjoying ad-free experience.
Please note that while the Albania server completely removes ads, the Mongolian server shows brief (up to 5-10 seconds) popups before the video starts. Both Surfshark and ExpressVPN offer servers in Albania and Mongolia.
However, the YouTube app may not be available for download from the Amazon Appstore in some regions. In that case, you can install the YouTube APK on FireStick.
